Sports Editorial and Social Media Intern

Purpose of role:

As a sports editorial intern in our team, you are responsible for assisting in the production of digital media content, primarily on our SuperSport account. You will have a familiarity with all social media platforms along with the talent to write and conceive engaging content for those platforms.

You will be relied upon to research sporting statistics and narratives that will enrich social media content as well as website editorial. Diligence and good attention to detail is a must.

The Role

 

As a BUD in our team, you are responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of key

accounts within the business. You will have a robust, integrated skillset and breadth of

knowledge that extends into the wider marketing sphere, covering PR, Partnerships,

sponsorship, digital, experiential and influencer engagement.

 

You are the central component in the team, ensuring the smooth running of all campaigns,

leading client, rights-holder and partner communications. You display strong skills in

managing your teams from Business Directors to Account Managers and Account

Executives, as well as other internal teams including creative, production and design.

You will have great enthusiasm for the sports & entertainment worlds, with a passion not

You are required to conceptualise high-end work – based on industry standard – including concept, proactive work, copy and execution.
