MID-SENIOR DESIGNER

Job Description: Mid – Senior Designer

Job Level: Mid – Senior

Purpose of role:

It is your responsibility to ensure world-class design across our Levergy studio. Oversee, inspire, mentor and manage your teams to create brilliant work. Always give recognition and inspire the design team while still focusing on creating your own award-winning work. Champion and inspire the Agency internally about all aspects design.

Experience & Skillset Required:

  • Five+ years’ experience as is Design
  • A varied, awarded book which contains a mix of real work and a strong conceptual ability
  • Must love design and demonstrate high attention to design craft
  • Organized and strong attention to detail
  • Relevant degree or diploma is advantageous but not a necessity
  • Have a vast portfolio
  • A strong agency pedigree and will add to the culture of the agency
  • Open and friendly personality – Excellent people skills
  • Good communication skills.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
  • Requires experience using a variety of design tools, including the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Conceptualise, offer visual/layout options and design/art direct advertising communication according to brief and/or strategy.
  • Execute design and production for projects of all sizes while meeting the various resolution requirements.
  • In-depth digital design capabilities that could range from banner advertisements to iconography to web page layouts
  • UX, responsive design (web, tablet and mobile), social media and emailers knowledge is a bonus.
  • Delegate tasks and offer feedback to less senior team members, ensuring the high quality of design work.

The Role

As a BUD in our team, you are responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of key accounts within the business. You will have a robust, integrated skillset and breadth of knowledge that extends into the wider marketing sphere, covering PR, Partnerships, sponsorship, Digital, experiential and influencer engagement

You are the central component in the team, ensuring the smooth running of all campaigns, leading client, rights-holder and partner communications. You display strong skills in managing your teams from Business Directors to Account Managers and Account Executives, as well as other internal teams including creative, production and design.

You will have great enthusiasm for the sports & entertainment worlds, with a passion not only for sport, but the culture surrounding it, as well as music and arts.

Key Responsibilities
General:

  •  Leading the day-to-day account and client teams.
  • Being the main point of contact for all clients – owning relationships with them is important.
  • Leading on campaigns from planning to delivery with team members – you will also have a role to play in strategic planning and creative idea generation.
  • Immersing yourself in the client’s business and objectives.
  • Leading all budget management on the account including budget estimates, tracking monitoring, and reconciliation.

Campaign Execution:

  • Leading on the delivery of effective campaigns through to activation and evaluation.
  • Ensuring campaign activations are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring campaigns are delivered best-in-class and stay true to strategy and creative.
  • Providing client counsel and delivering creative solutions.
  • Developing talent recommendations, negotiating, and contracting where applicable.
  • Tracking and delivering activity and partnership to agreed KPIs.

PR & Comms:

  • Advising on earned communications outputs to the client and messaging across PR, social and sponsorship assets.
  • Development of campaign platform and key messaging.
  • Strong knowledge of media and social media communications outputs, especially in relation to the specific needs of your client.
  • Building and maintaining quality relationships with key media across all relevant clients through the PR team.
  • Managing and driving rich editorial opportunities including exclusives, interviews and features through the PR team.
  • Continually monitoring media for all client coverage and articles of interest through the PR team.

Team Management:

  • Motivating teams to deliver best in class work.
  • Lead internal meetings, assigning day-to-day account tasks and ensuring delivering to deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 10 years+ of Account / Client management experience in earned communications agency.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills with a knowledge of storytelling.
  • Experience in talent management and contracting.
  • Understanding of brand and rights holder partnerships, and experience in delivering contracted assets.
  • Deep understanding of the sport and entertainment landscape and trends.
  • Experience in managing team members to deliver campaigns and projects.

Purpose of role:

Account Director runs multiple campaigns within the agency, within budget and achieve the strategic brand objectives. This position helps plan, coordinate and implement marketing plans and oversees teams who are developing campaigns for respective clients.

  • One+ years’ experience as an Account Director
  • Five+ years’ experience in Account Management

  • Relevant degree or diploma is advantageous but not a necessity

General Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of Account Managers and Account Executives.
  • Identify business opportunities with both new and existing clients
  • Work with customers to understand business needs and provide optimum solutions.
  • Have a trusted relationship with your creative, strategy and production teams and is able to conduct creative meetings and assess and push the work against the clarity of a well written brief. You continuously ensure that there is consistent brand alignment in all the work produced.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

            Overall Account Management

  • Assist in development & Implementation of Leveraging / Project plans in line with client briefs / strategy / requirements
  • Efficient & effective running of projects across all client projects:
    • Detailed ops & project plans for all client events / projects
    • De-briefs for all events
    • Assist with all project / client related tasks requests
  • Supplier Management – Ensure suppliers deliver to Levergy standard
  • Manage all budgets from conceptualisation of campaigns.
  • Track and monitor overall account performance to meet revenue targets.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, case studies and proposals.
  • Manage all award entries for from entry form build to entry delivery

 

Finance and Internal Business Processes:

  • Assist with the management of project / leveraging budgets. Ensure they are adhered to and within budget.
  • Ensure all financial procedures are adhered to.
  • Understand and work diligently on Chase.

 

Client Service:

  • Demonstrate understanding of the Levergy offering and ability to communicate this with client.
  • Ensure that proposals and reporting meet a high and consistent standard that correctly portrays the experience of the activation and summarises its delivery achievement.
  • Understanding of Rights holder / event contracts. Incl dates, client’s rights, deliverables, fee’s etc.
  • Build and nurture client relationships. Daily communication with clients, including but not limited to taking briefs, contact reports, general communication. Inspire confidence in our ability, provide client with piece of mind.
  • Have full understanding of clients’ business, and keep up to date with clients’ products and competitors. Competitor reporting, input into overall strategy and activations. Monthly reporting
  • Prepare monthly overview of client activities, revenue forecast and future plan.

 

Revenue Growth:

  • Maintaining of current client and assisting the team in reaching annual revenue target
  • Identify revenue opportunities for Levergy through cost saving efficiencies and identifying organic opportunities within the project / client
